My baby girl is due in June and the wife and I bought a Doona stroller/car seat. This thing is huge, but I can confirm that it does fit!A2359DF8-6F0A-4635-9FDD-9D61459CF8E4.jpg 8A17D5A2-3CA7-465A-84D5-AA7E641D416C.jpg

I'm sure there's probably other threads, but in the case there's not. I can confirm the chicco keyfit 2 also fits.

I have it in the back middle, Its's a bit tight with the driver's seat as I'm 6'2. But overall it works well.

Congrats on the baby girl by the way.

Thanks! I’m pretty short and it still didn’t fit behind me.

Depending on the size of your front seat passenger its really not safe for them to sit real close the dash due to the airbag. Just something to think about.

I ended up trading my Tacoma for a Highlander because of the tight fight with a booster seat and rear facing infant car seat. I couldn’t shake going without a truck and traded the Highlander after two months for another Tacoma. While its tight, it’s doable. In the meantime, my wife’s Camry is the primary family vehicle.

The Graco Extend2Fit fits fine rear-facing, but limits how far back the passenger seat can go back. Not horribly, but it's a thing. That problem will go away when it flips to forward-facing.

We just had a son and after a month traded the Tacoma in for a tundra. My husband is 6’4. The only way we could kind of make it work was with the car seat in the middle. It was tight though. Had the tundra for a week now and loving the extra space. Missing my Tacoma though :(

This is great. A big concern of my fiancee and I when buying my tacoma was whether or not it would fit a car seat. We felt pretty good about it when we saw the truck but nice to see it! We don't have kids yet but probably in the next 5-6 years so we're hoping the Tacoma is still kicking around then.

Congrats on the new addition! Best thing we did was get the convertible car seat once my son was a little bigger.. Chicco KeyFit 30 fits, but it was tight.. I couldn't fit in the passenger seat with the car seat clicked in. With the convertible seat installed (still rear facing) we're able to push the seat back a little more. My wife has a 4Runner and that is a lot more comfortable for us to fit. My son is almost 2 so he'll be forward facing soon..

Congrats! As others have mentioned, once you go forward facing it helps and then to a booster it gets even better. If you end up with two, booster behind driver rear facing and convertible begins passenger.

No problem. I couldn’t find a picture of this in a Tacoma anywhere online, so figured I would try it out. Are these things supposed to be on the side or in the middle seat?

My wife keeps telling me putting it in the middle is a dumb move if you get into an accident, so we will be putting it behind the passenger seat.
