Steering knuckle almost rubbing tire

    Tried to take a photo but didn't come out well. SR wheels with 265 70 16 on mine. Clearance may be a bit more but not by much.

    The nipple doesn't do anything. Could just be a tooling feature used to locate the part during manufacturing, much like the multitude of unused holes on your frame.

    I just noticed mine have a similar clearance issue.

    17inch sport rims, 265/70/17 BFG KO2s, no more than half an inch/pinky width clearance between the knuckle nipple and tire. Also noticed both nipples appear clean/polished, as if it's been rubbing - but no rub marks on new or old tires. (olds were 265/65/17 Toyos)
