I'm kind of surprised by the amount of "I dunno I just fill up when I need it" replies... It just seems like something people would see when they're driving down the road, even if you didn't pay attention at the pumps. The prices are literally lit up, facing the streets.

The 4 cyl is a good choice either way, though the V6 gets the same or slightly better mpg. It’s not just the governor — CA voters keep supporting increases in fuel taxes and stricter emissions standards. My heart goes out to the folks with jobs that really *require* a truck and get hit when prices spike. I wonder if we will see more small work vans that get 20+ mpg.

And $4.05 at Costco for me, OP.

About $3.50 here in NW WA.

Thankfully my Fiat Spider has a 10-gallon tank that goes close to 400 miles on a fill up.

I also live in the Metro Vancouver area. This morning as per Gas Buddy, the price per litre ranges from $1.589CDN to $1.719CDN.
    Which converts to:
    $1.18 litre x 3.78 = $4.46 US per/US gal
    to a high of
    $1.28 litre x 3.78 = $4.84 US per/US gal

Just saw the gas station up the street from me @ $5.29/gal for 91
This is in the 626 area in LA county. Not sure why anyone would fill there when it's a whole dollar less a gallon about a few blocks south. There was one lonely sole filling there.

I saw that gas station one time... just passed the pump, went another mile or so down the road and fueled up for normal price. That station owner needs a kick in the ass, prices are on pump and not displayed anywhere else.

They've had so many confrontations by people but legally they can do it. It's not price gouging bc they never really change their prices. Funny thing is that all grades (87, 89, 93) are only about two cents different each. They're all almost $6. I believe they were forced to finally add a sign about a year ago but it is very small and hidden by bushes.

Hey TinaTaco, Hawaii has 1 or 2 refineries and they send gas to all 8 islands via tankers.....but prices are on the way up.

This was about 3 years ago lol. Today it’s about $2.59 for regular - not too bad. My heart goes out to those in Cali. I would not be able to afford to drive my Tacoma there. Can’t beat the nice weather though.
