Guess it could solve your taco lean..just from the back instead of the front. LOL. But in all seriousness, check in with Icon and see if they have any single leafs laying around..

There was another member that posted on the 3rd gen forum. Maybe check with him to see if he has the same setup as yours and maybe you two could swap leafs.

I'm still running the stock TRD Off Road suspension on my '17, I'd be looking to add this leaf pack only for the near future. On a daily basis I have a Snugtop w/ a homemade rack on it, and a half loaded DIY goosegear setup so the current situation is pretty squatty. Oh and I'm a long bed.
Any idea how much lift, or what the affects of adding these without having any new shocks put on as well? My guess is the bed is heavy enough to dampen these a bit and prevent the truck from feeling like it's skipping or getting choppy

The spring rate on this is actually softer than stock im pretty sure, so you should be just fine.

That’s great to hear thank you. I just need the rear end to get picked back up a little bit and have some stronger leafs.

Has anyone tried changing leaf configuration with leaf packs still on truck. Installation guide makes it look like you can do it. I want to go from option 2 to option 3.

The only complication in doing that is finding a jack and stands tall enough to allow the leafs to drop/flex far enough. Unless you have access to a lift, then you’re set

Yeah pretty easy really. Like mentioned above, have tall enough jack stands and some c clamps(make sure they are big ones) for holding the leaf pack together while removing the center pin and do one side at a time

I tried changing the leaf while on the truck and ended up having to take the entire leaf pack out because it was near impossible getting leafs aligned enough to get the center pin through.

A good tapered punch is what I usually use to line them up. Definitely not the easiest thing, but not impossible.

You would have to unclamped once you get the pin out and to switch the leaf

Looks bad there but the lower shock mount is not attatched. With it on the Shock doesn’t allow it to droop that far

How much weight do you typically have in the back? I am debating switching from option 2 to option 3. I have a constant added weight of 250 lbs and up to 500+ when fully loaded. How is the ride when riding on the lighter side? I also could use a little more bump travel if option 3 gives a bit more lift.
