I’d ask about the timing belt. It’s suppossed to be done at 130k (I think) if it hasn’t that’s a $600 job. They’re very solid reliable engines, not a lot of specific concerns. If it starts and runs well, no smoke, it could run for years. But it is a 20 year old engine, even with low mileage, at that age anything could go out at any time.

How long of a process is it to swap? I’ll be in Charleston on May 15 for business.

15-20 minutes maybe? Can’t take very long. I take some pics of the cold air intake in the morning.

It’s had the timing belt replaced in the last year or so.

There were issues with head gaskets. Also just check it over for normal wear and tear items or leaks rust etc.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
I just went out and looked. Apparently it's one of the things I got rid of already.

I don't think a TRD intake will fit on my 5.0L V8...lol. I was running the safari hilux snorkel on the taco when I still had it.

I still have some other leftovers here, but not that. I think it's a fairly accurate list in the link of my sig. Pretty much give most of it away now. It's been almost 2 years at this point.

I do. I ran them for a while w/o bumps. May be able to mend them back to the original curve. I can send you a pic if you want.
