If anyone needs the CA CARB decals for the 2RZ/3RZ supercharger, I custom made these in Photoshop:

Will do. Didn’t see anyone around the truck so I was guessing who I might have passed on my way out of the canyon that might have been driving. Didn’t see any dudes I thought worthy so figure it was a girlfriend. I live very close by. Assume you must as well. Thought I might have seen your truck on Redwood Road near Skyline a few times in the past.

Personally, I'd rather live in a closet or share a space rather than spend 4 hours a day in my car.

Actually, I lucked out. A friend of mine bought a house off Summit Road about a mile from 17. I moved there last month. It adds 10 miles to my commute to Fremont so instead of 20 minutes it's 30 minutes. I leave the house at 4:45AM and I'm home by 3:00-3:30 and I work 9-10 hours a day and it's a reverse commute once I'm beyond 85.

I pay more for rent than I did but I feel I get a lot for my money. The house has 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, a garage and a full acre and there's just 2 of us plus a dog. It's also super close to some of the best mountain biking in the bay area. There are no neighbors in front of or behind the house and the ones on either side are far away. It's all trees.
My housemate has a welder and a whole bunch of wood working tools he lets me use too. My truck has been on jack stands for a week and I can leave it that way for as long as I want.

The house is a fixer upper so if I have a stressful day at work I can take it out by tearing down a wall or a ceiling.

I agree, I had a friend talk me into moving out here and commuting into the bay. It was horrible and I will never do that again.

I think I remember having a conversation with you about that. A long commute is soul sucking.

    A few things
I have worked with a lot of guys who live in the Central Valley. They give me crap about buying a house in San Jose and how much less they paid. I like to remind them I have already got home, showered and am enjoying a cold beer by the time they are at the sunol grade.

So just had a hard core road rage situation driving my daughter to school. I stopped at a yellow light (iffy if I would have made it into the intersection before turning red) and the guy behind me freaked out. Starts yelling in his car then opens his door and start screaming at me halfway out his Tahoe. I just ignored him, kept my windows up and music on (so the kid didn’t hear). He kept it up till the light turned green then proceeded to get next to me on the freeway and screamed some more. Did this with traffic for 4 miles before he was far enough ahead I could get off at an exit and he couldn’t follow. I don’t know what triggers people to freak out that bad, but he had some major issues. Had my phone in hand ready to call the cops if he tried anything.
