Yep and unfortunately every trim in 2021. I do wish they kept pro colors exclusive.

I’d wait for a 2017. It also has front and rear cameras, and no nanny! :bananadance:

I would read about the trim level you want and see if the standard and optional upgrades are worth your wait. Another factor to consider is how long do you plan to keep the truck. I wouldn’t want to be drooling over a feature I could have had on my “forever” truck if I had just waited 4-5 months. If I was looking today personally I would be holding for the 2020. I like the refresh upgrades and I typically keep vehicles 8-10 years. Best of luck.

I decided to wait for the 2020 OR. Getting an updated head unit, power seats, passenger handle sensor, (maybe) updated lights, (maybe) camera update is worth waiting a couple of months even if it means paying a bit more.

So correct me if I'm wrong but one of the 2020 videos I saw did they add another storage container to the back? And they also add LED lights at the bottom of the bed by the tailgate 2 on the sides?

The storage compartment on the drivers side was eliminated for 2019, the 2020 trucks being shown are marked "prototype" so I would not count on that compartment returning, you could however buy the parts from an older truck and add it yourself.

...true I suppose, unless one happened to pick up a 2017 MT TRD Pro. Then you got the best of the last of the pre-TSS models which will always in some ways be the best of the best (well, at very least in my mind anyway).

I see you are in the lehigh valley, me too.

If you are looking to lease, bennett toyota had some crazy deals on Tacomas. I considered waiting, but couldnt pass up $289 a month with $289 down.

If you are buying, probably doesnt make much of a difference. Obviously the 2019 will drop some in price once the 2020’s come out.

Isn't that just for the regular model? I thought about them but they didn't have the color I wanted in stock :/ usually those special deals are for dealer stock only with like 3600 down. But yeah I'm going to lease as I'm upside down on my RAV4 adventure and by the time I'd do a trade and buy for the truck it would cost as much as just doing a lease and keeping the RAV4. So what did you get from them?

People who are trying to decide on whether to buy now or wait: I bought now because my aging Tundra was losing trade in value daily and I wanted to get as much as I could for it since I wasn’t going to finance the difference. Everybody has their own unique circumstances. That’s what it comes down to.

I don’t feel like I missed out on much. I think I certainly would have missed out on more if I had waited because I would have paid a lot more and not gotten as much. It’s the law of diminishing returns. But it also really comes down to what will make you happiest, financial situation, etc...
