They are 12" wide, 14" tall, and almost 40" long.
They are mounted with bolts through the body skins along with some bolts all the way through the frame and then seam sealer ran along the joint to keep debris out. Still holding strong to this day.

If I had to do it all over again now that Sierra is out of business...I would make my own. Likely same width but not as tall and not as long. One piece of sheet metal with two breaks in it and just stitch weld it to the frame/box or add tabs for bolts to bolt through.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I can tell you those are not hubcentric. The hubs in that picture are tiny as are most trailer hubs

@mach1man001 nailed it. I built the axle with 6x5.5 hubs and drum brakes on a 3500 lb axle. It's trailer parts so it's all SAE lug studs with acorn style lug nuts. The trailer is sub 2000 pounds fully loaded, so I'm not worried about riding on just the lugs. I just had my tire shop balance the tires with the lug adapater rather than just the hub.

@jberry813 One of my favorite builds in trailerland! Did the 2.5"x 2.5"x.25" tubing tongue work good with the Max Coupler? Did it take some massaging to get it to fit?

Yeah worked fine. No massaging. It was actually receiver tubing so it worked perfect.

Oh speaking of trailer. As soon as the snow melts enough that I can actually get to the trailer, the dingleberry is getting new shoes. Can’t keep dragging that thing around without bead locks and 35s. :anonymous:

I saw that you used 14ga to skin the front of the trailer. Did you use it to skin the rest?

It’s been a long time since I built it. It I’m pretty sure all the skins are all 14 and the base is 12.

Damn! So much time, money and blood sweat tears in this trailer.
Have you enjoyed it for more hours than you spent working on it?

Oh hell yes. The Dingleberry has been rode hard and put away wet. Over 100 nights in the last 5 years.

The tires were a gift from @kceastsparks after we recovered his truck on Christmas. And the wheels I picked up on eBay for dirt cheap and 5% off eBay day.

I got to use one in Mojave a couple weeks ago. I ordered it that very day when I got reception. I’m a fan. Fuck hi lifts.
