Coming up on 5k mi and my first oil change. I am going with synthetic. I run AMS in my motorcycle, love it and have heard good things about it in cars and trucks. Anyone have experience with it in the Tacoma? Thanks!

I am running the Amsoil 5w- 30 ASL in my 2.7L, but I only have about 1000 miles on the first fill. Working great so far, easy cold starts and not burning a drop.

I will do a UOA when I change it out to see if I can go more miles than I did with it. I'll probably change it out at around 8k this first time, and go from there.

Just put in the 5W20 XL at 5k mi. Have about 500 on it so far and no problems.
