Everything comes complete though right? Wiring, covers, hardware, etc? I am on here until late at night. Shoot me a PM. It will give me time to think about it.

What's your opinion on running two spots in the middle and two floods flanking them? So if I jump it will be for 4 and that setup, so if you can, reserve the spots at least until later.

When I go hybrid I might rather go this route and sell my bumper with the light bar and light bar mount all together.

    Thanks.

So in the field behind my old house in Lubbock currently sits a second gen Tundra, full leather 5.7 double cab with a nice bed cover. Wrecked (no frame damage), vin plates gone. Old roommate who occupies the house now and i'm still really good friend with reported it stolen last month. Its still sitting there. The last time a vehicle was in that field it was a much shittier XJ that was there for a year and a half until we watched it get stolen (probably again) on our video cameras.

Soooooo I might be going to Lubbock this weekend. Not to do anything yet but check it out

Here's the current gameplan for project Beached Whale

First is to find a way to see if we can identify the original owner. Buddy hasn't checked the video camera footage yet but said he would after class. He said the vin and plates are gone but if we can get inside we might be able to identify it. Gonna call a lock smith they'll do it no questions asked in Lubbock for a $10.

If I want the truck, its looking like a specific situation needs to be met. If it is stolen, we'll have to try and buy it via insurance. Obviously if it hasn't been settled yet, though, it'll revert to the previous owner. If it can't be identified, its looking like we might be able to claim it as an abandoned vehicle left on their property. That's the process we we're in the middle of with the XJ before it was stolen. To my understanding, Lubbock would rather not pay a tow truck driver and auction fees would rather just push the Tundra off. In which case, i'll pay some fees and it could be mine. Obviously all this is a long stretch but we did have an abandoned, stolen vehicle outside our house for a year and a half and everyone complained about it constantly and it never moved. Started getting tagged and beaten up around a year after it was parked.

That's why step one is to get inside and look it up. I did a searching on stolen vehicle reporter but didn't meet any Tundras that met this criteria (same generation and color, much less trim and such)

Would be nice. Either fixer upper if the frame's good or have some new interior for my Tundra and that 5.7 would look mighty swell in ye ol Taco...
