You have to take it to an alignment shop. They can adjust your lower control arm for you. That would work.

I'll try it out, last thing I wanna do is make the rubbing worse by messing with the SPCs. I recall last time I got it aligned they told me they maxed my caster as much as they could and it was barely +2 on both sides. All this stuff gives me a headache lol.

New plugs, new vacuum hoses, and soon at least one new coil pack.

Ryan, Putting a new spark plug in 4 didn't help. I also swapped 1 and 3 coil packs. Still a misfire on 4. Going to check TDC this weekend and make sure the timing belt didn't jump a notch.

Anyone have a spare 5vz airbox? Found a crack in mine today behind the filter while replacing the intake tube. I'll pay for it and shipping if need be, just needs to be structurally sound.

Well, not quite. Funny story though. When I bought the truck I was on transfer working in SLC Valley. In fact, I live in Southern Illinois although I am rarely there. I live in hotels. Anyway, I had a rental from my company and my car was in shambles at home, so i moseyed on down to carl malone toyota in Draper and I found my truck. I looked at the undercarriage and it was a rust wonderland. I mention it, salesman says, and I quote, "Thats normal, they all rust over time." I called him on is bullshit and he knocked a few grand off, and at this time I didnt know anything about the safety recall. He certainly didn't mention it. Against my better judgement, I bought the truck regardless of rust. Well, I find out a week later about the recall for the frame rust, and saw that only wet states were covered under it. I immediately thought I got hosed because Utah isn't a state which was under that recall. I call corporate. They look up vin and verify that it originated from New Hampshire and that it was covered until December 19. I request a signed faxed copy stating as such. They complied. So fast forward a few years. I went to local toyota in my home town for an annual frame check, and the tech comes with a strange look on his face. He said that there was a whole section of the frame that was just gone. Lol. They chose to fix instead of buy it back, which i was happy about. I love my truck. Even more so after the 12,800$ invoice for the frame swap. They did make me pay for struts.
, Utah rocks, literally. Can't wait to go wheelin out there! Lasalle loop was surreal. 137k and counting.

This isn't entirely true. You need to find a shop that has previous experience with frame replacements. A dealer that doesn't have much experience does not know the process and does not know how to make money on the job. A dealer that has experience knows how to make money and knows the pitfalls and how to avoid them. Talk to local dealers and find one that knows how best to perform the procedure AND make money.

I maxed my available LCA castor. This gives you the most firewall clearance but may expedite bushing wear. I haven't had an issue yet but have only had whitelines for a year. Anyway, once the lowers are maxed that should give you +2° then adjust camber and toe from there.

Have you confirmed that you are getting spark? You can pull the coil, put a plug in and ground it and you should be able to see it.

If you move it to -2.0 (for a net of 0.0) that will move the wheel forward in the wheel well. That's what I did: Bye Bye Toytec, New UCA's and ADS Shocks in the Front

As you can see, I had quite the issue at the default setting...likely what you're seeing as well.

Yep ... Same concept as this video. I'd keep a plug installed just so fuel doesn't shoot out.

Tell me about it. Like I said the only two things I can think of is if my timing is off a little bit or if my ECU isn't functioning right. I've read that 2nd gens with the code p0304 had a head gasket issues. But since my cylinder held pressure. I don't think it's the head gasket.
