OK. I'm in! Snatched the file off my laptop via the included flash drive and loaded it up in the desktop. Much easier on the eyes.

 

Thanks for the clarification, but it would be really nice if your downloads included a version number, rather than just Digital Signature dates. (Let me know if I'm missing it someplace obvious.)

 

When you try to install it, there's a version number that shows up.



I get what you're saying, though. If the number was posted then you'd know whether to download or not. Me, I just download it and see what the version is.

It's proven tricky to automate version number publishing via the website in our build environment. I agree it would be nice!

You can go to Help -> About and see if there is a new update available and the version number.

 

So, run the beta or just the base program now? I usually stay away from beta programs due to instability.

 

Have you changed your 4-5 shift scheduling? I plan on messing with this Saturday, but I don't want to break anything.

Yes I have, slightly.

I haven't had a chance to drive it very much bbecause my commute is only 8 miles, but it hasn't flared again yet. Probably this weekend I 'll be able to test it more.

 

This might be a stupid question or irrelevant to this thread, potentially, but what are people getting for LTFT that are running JustDSM's tune?

I'm getting a few % on bank 1 and up to 8-10% on bank 2, which seems high to me. Just wanted to check and make sure it wasn't normal before I go hunting vacuum leaks or something this weekend.

 

Fuel trims should be unaffected with the tune. Intakes, injectors, and leaks can factor in there though.

Umm, these top end blasts on a closed course are getting addictive. The little black prerunner didn’t know what happened.

 

@JustDSM @Roostfactor I just had a thought on the maf scaling. Would the dual vvti fj/4runner intake provide a larger scale for more maf g/s since if I remember correctly the intake is slightly larger? If I am remembering right, it caused check engine lights for some people running the v2 trd air system because it was actually designed for an fjc/4runner.

So if we had one of these intakes, and you uploaded the fj maf table, it should be larger than the tacoma and require less modification than say the tundra air box?

 

I think you may be on to something! I’ll be curious to see a FJ/4Runner file to confirm.

 

It is larger. I was looking at one the other day thinking the same thing. Looks like a tundra air box.
