Nah. Since retiring my life has been very random. Tomorrow I might sleep until noon.

 

And then wake up and tell us all "Good Morning".

 

well, it's a perspective thing

 

He’s well rested by noon and pretty chipper!

 

The pup usually wakes me up to be let outside pretty early. But then I go back to bed.

 

Yeah, ain't it great?
Although I can't shake the internal clock that wakes me up before 4 am.
But...naps.

This is the time of year that it's finally nice enough to have the windows open, day and night.
And the songbirds are singing their heads off.
Whenever we have company staying over... (city folk)
...naturally they comment about the birds waking them up.

 

Birds waking you up is the best thing about living in the woods during spring!

 

I have a bird that wakes up at 530 singing, whistling and chirping.

 

That’s the worst feeling... hope your Friday gets better!!

 

It's wonderful. Seriously.

Do you have mockingbirds?
They're gonna start in soon when it's little warmer.
On warm moonlit nights they'll do that all night, intermittently.

 

When I woke up this morning
the dawn was soft and still
A little robin came and sat
upon my window sill
He tipped his head and looked at me
his eyes so bright and clear
He chirped a little melody
My morning thoughts to cheer
His song he sang so sweetly
Without a moments lull
I gently closed the window
and crushed his fucking skull.

 

I think so.. I was cleaning a pool the other day and a bird was singing and making all kinds of noise on a telephone pole. Next thing I hear is a mowing cat from that direction. I thought maybe a cat got stuck up there, so I started looking. No cat anywhere just the bird.

 

Mom is struggling, but home. Think this AMIT program is going to be the thing that helps me. Still have good and bad days, to be expected I suppose! Tks for checking

 

And tree peepers to put you to sleep at night.
