But, everything is so freaking wet, I have been good, and tearing up trails....

 

Not a place to skimp. I had a helmet and neck brace very likely save my life on a bike trip in British Columbia. $200 is cheap compared to a wheelchair or a home health aid.

 

Thunder is super fun, I’ll probably head up there when I get back from Switzerland.

 

New to TW found a thread i can contribute to, so you all get my first post. Riding the trails here in South Dakota,

 

I’m in Northborough about 15 mins east of Worcester. I was checking out that park. It looks awesome. I would definitely make a trip out there

Dirt is crazy good today. Just snowed a foot, then rained, then warmed up. So, some mud but mostly perfect dirt.

 

Trestle is way more fun than Keystone. I'll be back in the area in mid-July if you guys wanna hook up. I can show you around a bit.

 

I'm planning on heading up to both a couple times this summer. Maybe we should do a TW ride up there.

 

Looking forward to the first ride on my first gravel bike. Solid deal via CL. Niner RLT 9 RDO. Had no idea they were CO based.

 

Unfortunately we are doing Oregon this year instead of Colorado. It’s where I’m from. Going to hit up the new bike park at Mt. Hood timberline if it’s finished

Looking at a Specialized Stumpjumper to get myself started on some trail and downhill riding. Who else is riding a Stumpjumper? Thought on them as an entry level/all around bike?

 

Seems like the stumpjumper is a right of passage for a healthy percentage of riders. The higher end ones do really well! Even the more basic ones will teach you a lot.

 

Thanks, good to know. Yeah for now I was looking at a more basic one to get myself started.

 

Those are solid bikes. Cant really go wrong with a stumpjumper or trek fuel/remedy.
