    Seriously funny!!

I’ve been jumped on for saying the early 2.4 wasn’t a relative turtle. My other ride is a corner balanced, well sorted Miata, so I’m operating from “high standards” for handling. Neither is a rocket, but I was expecting a turtle & was surprised at how well it drove- it put the 2015 Alfa Romeo-based Dart to shame (my wife even said “Holy Crap, this truck outdrives the Dart.” We looked at 20 of more cars (thinking either my daughter would get the “new” one & I’d keep the xB or she’d get the B & I would get the new one-IF I was happy with how it drove).
We kept coming back to the Taco as the better DRIVING one we tested.

I expected the 24 year old Taco to wallow, accelerate slow, have a loose tail, & struggle to stop. It did none. Instead, it was closer to the opposite.
Now, with S Runner-style suspension mods, I expect it to improve. So, that’s what I’m working toward.

    Any ways ....
I get enough contrarian stuff at work (retail) ... not worth it in my hobbies.
I’m glad the rest of this place isn’t like the 3rdG subforum sounds to be.

Was going back to the station from Greenville in that same area last summer, and saw an Acura TSX do that. Well, he got t-boned by a Tundra doing at least the speed limit. Lucky the guy survived, he was messed up, but if he would have gotten hit on the driver side....RIP

Dumb people win too often. Just an observation. Hate it for an anyone to lose in those situations, but too often it seems like the guy doing things the right way suffers. I defensive drive like a mofo and often have to think armor or asshole with people around here.

I've had too many close calls over the past few years around here. One that sticks out right now is literally getting forced out of my lane on 385.

I have so many saved videos from idiots on the road, it’s unbelievable.

It usually happens most often when my 18mo daughter is in the truck too
