    The error in your argument is that you keep making the assumption we hate the show yet continue to watch it.

    Speaking for myself I hated the episode and voiced my opinion. You took that as I hate the show...so I should not watch.

    So you can understand... let’s say you’ve got a taco and love it, own it for a few years. Then Toyota makes a change you you hate. Then I come along and say, “hey why did you buy a truck you keep bitching about?”

    I’ve been trying to get her ass in a T4R for months now.. and I think the GoT episode has made her get on team OLED now.

    8K won’t be the big thing (screen size is the diminishing return), but the new HDMI standards and advanced HDR, refresh rates, etc.. gimme. My 2015 4K HDR Samsung was pushed to its limit in a dark room on that episode. It was unwatchable in the daytime.

    The sad thing is King endorsed it. I lost a lot of respect for him after that.

    That being said, in today's culture of rebooting titles before the original hits the Blu Ray bargain bin at Walmart, I would hope a streaming service like Netflix or Amazon would see the potential in a multi-season series. Especially one built where the last scene of the last episode is the first scene from the first. It would be a perpetual binge-watcher's dream.

    Oh man. I love analogies. Let's do one where you go to a comedy show and never laugh. Maybe half the audience is right there with you but the other half has a great time and thought it was hilarious.

    The only conclusion the people on the other side can come to is that you walked in with a bad attitude and maybe you should have just stayed home.
