@BartMaster1234 you asked for a pic of my afr gauge location

    20190503_122619~2.jpg

My AFR wasnt reading 4.5, photo just didn't capture the 1...a 4.5 reading at idle would be concerning lol. My gauge doesn't even show anything under 11.

Anyone familiar with fuel trims and such, does the fuel that goes through the 7th injector get included in your fuel trims, or is it independent?

It'll fuck with your fuel trims cause the computer isn't expecting it but it measures it with the o2 sensor

Obviously idle trims and times when the 7th isn't firing should be normal

Loving your kids doesn't mean you can't make them sleep outside.

I have, on multiple occasions, looked at my kids and said "wtf!?" I'm sure my parents did the same to me, lol

True, I'm sure I was on the verge of getting kicked out of the house many times as a kid. Hell my sister did get kicked out of the house and even got the cops called on her by my parents, but that's a whole other story lol. Good times

That's the basic idea behind the Mid-engine Runabout 2 seater... MR2

Ok so adjusting the 7th will adjust the fuel trims. I didn’t know if it was measured by the fuel pump or something that was before all 7 injectors.

Fuel trims are determined by how far off perfect the computer is having to compensate the injection duty cycle due to unexpected circumstances. The computer fires a blast of fuel it is thinking will be the ideal mixture... It cant measure the fuel directly so it waits a second to read the o2 and then tweaks the injection blast to get it right. A lot of trimming usually means something is up and trim level isnt an across the board thing, it changes with the fuel map so you could have trim issues at 3k rpm and none at idle...etc

In short yes and no... It isn't that simple and if your trims are much off 0 at idle you have other issues

It's such a small car, you only have that seat and a cubby in the front the size of a breifcase. If you have to move anything with an MR2 then that's what it looks like.

So what would be the cause of bad idle fuel trims? Injector issues?

Lots of things, increased injection pressure, injectors not flowing equal amounts, pirate air, the list goes on

    From Dexter? How?

I loved that show, well the first couple of seasons anyway. Went downhill fast after they stopped following the books and especially after the writer's strike.
