    Hey...
Anyone ever mount the hilift to the outside of one of the side plates? Pics?
Seems like 2 or 3 bolts thru the side plate as mounting studs should do the trick?
    Thx - dave

can you post a pic of that mid rack with the RTT? I'm curious how high it sits, i have an extang 2.0 so i would get the addtional bed cover brackets which i believe puts it even higher.

I'm guessing with the rack, the Rotopax will not allow for a rooftop tent to deploy to the side of the truck properly?

It looks like the pax are inching up on the top of the rack so I'm curious if you're able to deploy the tent over it or do you have to deploy the tent to the side that the paxes aren't mounted on.

It looks like he also added a rhino rack ontop of the rci rack which makes it able to work with it.

That's a bummer, I was hoping the rack would be designed with this sort of stuff in mind.

I completely agree i bought the rci bed rack because i like the look but put my rotopax and maxtrax on the side and noticed there is no way it would work with how it was so i sold the rack and bought a prinsu for my camper shell. You will be able to get away with rotopax/maxtrax on one side and the other side empty so you can open your tent that way.

Yeah, I actually own an RCI rack and was doing a bit of research into rotopax mounting, but with the given info, I may skip out on rotopax and figure out a different way to mount extra gasoline. Separate issue, but I feel like rotopax are extremely overpriced right now. You literally spend around $130 just to mount a 2 gallon canister of gas, what the hell.

Sorry for the late reply. No you can not deploy with the rotopax on, you can always move them to the opposite side and not have to worry about it. I personally just removed mine.

Probably a dumb question, but to mount an RTT do you just use the RTT slider with a bolt and line it up with the "slots" in the crossbars?
