@fatfurious2 finally got my fairing installed and got out for a ride. Huge difference in the wind. If you look closely you can also see my new turn signals just under the hand controls.

Super tiny LEDs from SpeedKings. I really like them.

I cruised over to Thrashin Supply today since their shop is just down the street from one of my offices. Finally got some touch screen gloves so I can text and post on Instagram while I ride the bike.

and a pic of my 1st bike on the right.
I think it was a Honda trail CT70. Not sure of the year but pic is prob circa "77". I was 10. My brother in the middle.
The bike on the left was my good friend Sam on a Indian 50. Not sure of the year on that one either.

Does anyone know how to make a diy helmet visor lock? Mine didn't come with a little lever to lock my visor down for high speeds.

Took a monumental step in the right direction towards riding again:

I had to do the master link twice because I cracked the pin the first time around. The amount you peen the things is so small and even with a caliper it’s so hard to tell. This time I peened it enough to tell I did but not over do it. It only ended up measuring like .2mm more. Really recommended this pit posse tool kit I bought off Amazon for $40.

Looks nice man. Been looking for these for my 19' FXDR! Only other ones I knew about are from Australia, so it's cool to see them sold in the US. The indicators on the front of the FXDR are huge. These would clean it up a lot!

*edit* Just my luck, they're sold out of the smoked version...

I had previously found them in Germany but they were about $120 USD. Glad I found them in the US as well. Just wait a bit. He sources them from somewhere else (probably China), since the packaging was a bit “DIY”. I’ll send you a picture of them on later. They’re not going to be as bright as the custom dynamic lights but that’s more to do with the actual LED count than the lumens. For me, relocating the lights back up to the hand controls separates them enough from the headlight that they’re easy to see (I previously had fork mounted signals). One thing to note too is that the lights are two wire so you lose the running lights unless you want to add the CD resistor in-line to turn the two wire light to three wire.
