I'll move this over to the BS thread since I would like to go a bit more in depth into electrical stuff, mainly because I've been doing a lot of electrical on my truck lately.

Next question would be is there any harm in have a shit ton of stuff connected to my battery terminals? Everything is switched/relay'd or have a On/Off button. Everything is always off until I turn it on.

I have a 100w solar setup charging the battery when I'm in the sun.

May be a good idea to connect a terminal block to each battery terminal and then connect everything to the block. Can run into issues when there are lots of things connected directly to a stud on the battery terminal.

Can do it for now, but go back later and do a fuse block to make things look cleaner and more organized.

Yeah, I was considering buying a $30 one but elected not too for now since I don't know if that's all I need.

As long as my truck won't burn down or anything with my current setup, that's the main thing I was concerned about.

As long as you have proper fuses for the length and gauge of your wires and power draw, you're fine.

I saw you did your calculations based on 2amps. Assuming that's all your fridge draws and you dont plan to add anything to that circuit or use it for anything else, you're good.

My fridge draws a little over 5 amps but I still went with 14 gauge wires to the cigarette lighter outlet because there was the possibility I might plug in something besides my fridge that draws more current. Just food for thought.

In my opinion, it's generally better to go with heavier wires than you need but there are exceptions where I'd say go with the smallest you can get away with.

To add on to Bryan’s, the fridge won’t draw much running, say max2amps, but will draw 5+ amps when it starts up. If your wiring is to small when it tries to pull start up amps and senses the voltage goes down to the cutoff. So not only do you need to set it up for the max, but think about other things. Like Bryan said, I’ve used that plug for an air compressor before I had the twin.
The solar will help keep the voltage higher which will mean it’ll draw less amps and be better for the electrics system over all.

So we'll say the fridge will draws 8 amps or less on start up. I need to maintain at least 12v if I have the fridge shut off at 11.8v on "High" power save mode . 8 ft of wire needs to lose no less than .6v since a standard 12v battery is actually 12.6v?

I can't find anything solid on what the battery draw is to crank the motor. A few threads said it drops to 10v but that doesn't make sense to me

I'm moving from Lakewood to Arvada from a townhouse into a house. My townhouse went up yesterday, I believe, and the showing is tomorrow.

You're right about it being "interesting". My inspection for the new house was yesterday and the furnace is 26 years old (same as the house) so it'll be interesting to see what they say to my inspection objections.

I think technically closer, 3 blocks over and one block up.
