I would probably get one if I wasn't super tall. The extra space is nice to have. I can keep certain things in the truck like my backpack and hiking stick and my chair and other random crap :anonymous:

Haha I totally signed up and then disguised the url I was given as a plain link and posted it on the T4R forum like GT did to us. I'm now up to somewhere around 60 entries all together lol.

Damn as a college student I almost miss my access cab because now I feel like I am actually wasting space when I fill up the back seat with hunting or fishing stuff... But I am far from a wife and kids to drive around

Unfortunately 5 seats instead of 2 also earned me a spot as a DD

Hi Gentlemen..One thing leads to another, figured I would ask for your advice as opposed to the rest of TW, since I live here in StL. Started adding armor to my 18 OR. So far sliders, rear bumper, full skid plates, front bumper and winch in future. Weight gained currently 385lbs. Probably 500-600lbs with front bumper/winch. Thinking 2" suspension lift. Any suggestions on brands/ pkgs. Kings are out of my price range. I can swing OME BP 51. Are bypass shocks worth it? How long do they last compared to the stock Bilsteins or nitrogen shock? I offroad maybe 2 weeks/year, CO and Moab, in a slow and controlled fashion. Thanks Jim

I got OME nitrocharger sports and 600 pound springs in the front. The shocks will give you a little lift but what really gives you a lift are coils and leaf springs

BP51s will net you a free compressor right now - I think - and they’ll be perfect for what you are planning. You may want to see if your supplier can offer them with springs rated to support the additional weight. At low speeds a bypass is somewhat unnecessary.

According to the website that offer is good May 1-June 30th. I agree with Josh, the key thing with extra weight is upgrading the coils and leafs. With extra weight shocks don't do much for ride height/ground clearance because they will compress however much your coils and springs allow them to.

I would go with 700# coils. You have to take in to account your/passenger weight and any potential items you might install (battery, air compressor, 50 cal, led light system, roof rack, gear on the rood rack). I have 700# coils and i want 800:rofl::annoyed:. But if your worried it will be stiff for your application maybe 650#. I concur with @G.T. recommendation:thumbsup:

I'm sure it would mount perfectly to the roof rack, just need a gunner to ride in the bed

Yeah, nah. While I’ve never tried it, I don’t reckon I’d be any good at catching Hellfires or Mavericks.

Thanks guys! Kinda figured bypasss shocks were for Baja racing. Its possible to install a heavier coil and AAL only? This OME kit is half the BP 51 kit, I am almost ready to commit to it. Axleboy in O'Fallon is an ARB dealer, they recommended Schrockwork sliders, which I bought. Anyone deal with them? They will give a quote on TAK 16 kit on Monday, I will let you know if they can beat ToyTec price.OME lift kit.jpg
