    Evening Everyone !!!! :hattip:

Just got home from the VA Ortho appt , according to my surgeon I've got over 4mm lateral movement in my right knee . He told me 2mm is all they want to see with a knee replacement . He told me it's definitely to loose by looking at the x rays taken today

He also asked me if I wanted surgery and I said yes then he explained after reviewing my surgical records that there's some issues needed to discuss

He mentioned the surgery would have two options one being a total revision (completely new knee replacement) removing the prosthesis I currently have and implant a new one . The other option is re shim the current prosthesis to correct the 4mm lateral movement

He then told me after reviewing my Surgical records that I had a hard time in PT after surgery trying to regain flexion . This concerns him as the revision surgery or the surgery to tighten it up will make it harder for me to regain flexion . He said this may result in the inability to get my knee to 90°

I told him that I'm a Marine and I will work my ass off in PT and at 120% focus and he liked my motivation . Now he has to talk to the Chief of Ortho for his thoughts , I'm supposed to hear back from the Surgeon in a couple weeks

I guess that's why. I see very, very little TV. Just local news and I got a trial subscription for OAN because of what the national news networks have become.

Cant believe the traffic again on the Cajon pass coming home this afternoon . Took over 1 hour to go 17 miles ( total length of the Cajon pass) Northbound uphill

Drivers are absolutely brain dead , watched a lady drive under the DOT bumper of a Semi truck the next lane over from me . All the traffic back up was for a SUV that became a car bbq on the steepest part of the pass

    I only have 3 instruments.
    A hammer
    A utility kmife
    And duct tape.

    Hammer for anesthetic
    Utility knife for exploration
Duct tape for sealing up stuff I take out and holding shit together.
Or adding popsicle sticks to certain things.
