Shit, I still have the liner intact on my hood still.
Been thinking on doing something like this, maybe on the inside, depending on the brightness. Or just could do some bulb changes.

This length is just enough for two bedsides and the under hood section, I'm sure you could just get a shorter section.

Then I needed some small gauge wire, so I ordered two spools of 18awg.

 

That reroute looks hot.
Any noticeable difference when you drive your truck after this?
Did you follow a thread on here for that?

 

It was really just to make room for the compressor, but I also wanted the snorkel effects.
It's louder in the cab, that's for sure.
The elbow is a 4" to 3.5" taper, and the aluminum pipe was bought at 12", but I had to cut some off of both.

 

I installed my Anti-Dark a couple years ago. I like it. May not be as bright as yours, though.

You can cut the LED strip shorter, if I remeber right. Been a few yrs since I seen this posted elsewhere.

 

Yup, there are cut marks. I'll have to solder wires onto one side when I do the bed.

 

Where did you ground your LEDs? I assume at the battery since it’s right there?

I have a couple strips back in the bed that used to light up better but look weak now and I think it’s the ground. Wasn’t sure if I needed to extend more so I can ground into the frame itself or even wire all the way up to the battery. I was thinking I could at least find a better ground in the taillight wiring but I’ve been too lazy to do anything about it.

 

The ground is switched on the hood pin, and ran to my fuse block (which is ran to the battery).

Just got my tool box and all the stuff. I've got a handful of 2nd gen parts I'll give away. Specifically a few brand new filters. I gotta run through everything else, but I know there are some stock parts too.
