This is the new plan for Friday night. Let's make it happen.

How much would a porta-john be?

He is actually tasked with asking around this weekend for me, I will be reminding him.
It's been a few years since I have been up there but I remember now it overlooks lake Willoughby

Found it, Vermont. Brownington is like 5 hours from Greenville. I would be interested if it was dirt/backroads over to the B52 site, but that would take forever.

I can poke around and see what I can find if folks would like. I know I have space for a few folks.
I think the wife is on board, just need this rain to stop.

Yeah I'm not sure which way we are going but that would be awesome!
My boss is a light hearted awesome guy so I have always had a feeling TW would be crashing at his place.
He was warned last year, I just hope he is there to see us.

I found out yesterday that we (CT) had 20 days of rain and 24 days of cloud cover last month.
I'm just hoping the dam gypsy moths are gone:fingerscrossed:
They have been wreaking havoc past 3 years.

Sorry to interrupt your thread, but I live in Maine and my grandfather, who recently passed away, wrote a song about these trains with his friend. I would like to some day go visit them with a guitar and play the song sitting on one of the trains.

    Sorry to thread-jack

Agreed. I have been up to Moosehead area a bunch of times, the trains have been on my radar for a few years now. It would be cool as shit to be part of the crew you went with to play that song.

Man I wish I could make it, but I'm walking across the graduation stage next week and then completing a few online courses I have to make up, while working this summer. I don't think I'll have time, but I appreciate y'all's wanting me to go!

It’s a two day trip for us here in Maine, head up Saturday Morning, come back Sunday Night. One of the options I am considering.

Sorry i saw @Spare Parts ask on another thread about camping spots/pit stops!

Word to the wise... You will definitely have a bear visit if you do not keep your food properly stored.
