Sport has appearance package with a stiffer suspension tuned for the street. Less body roll.

OR has locker and crawl with Multi-Terrain Select with a soft suspension tuned for the trails

I can afford a Taco, I cant afford a BA Land cruiser lol. Plus I want a truck, not a suv. Even the wife would only drive a small or midsize, like a Rav4 or something.

Yeah I bought these in January. For a 16+ DCSB the base (bare steel) is $480. I got top plate, powder coat for $634. With shipping I paid just under $800. With shipping as of today 5/4 its $831. My only regret is how much the top plate weighs, like 25lbs per slider. It took about 12 weeks, 4 of which were at the powder coat vendor. The delay wasn't worrisome since I don't plan to use them till Oct. Thanks for the Dobinson lead. Headstrong got back with me, I'm impressed with their attention to detail. I plan to create a bottom view of the truck with added weight per component, hopefully will illustrate how much front vs rear has to support. What I don't want to do is create a bone jarring ride around town.

I`m eyeing the sliders from Victory 4x4, a set they have has built in lights front an (rear?) I think, for like 1K PC`ed, so Im like oh yeah, I want those, plus they look like a actual side step, so it has a slight stealth look to them.

If you can afford a new taco, then you can afford a kick ass LandCruiser.

We had a Cub Scout campout scheduled for this week and the powers to be canceled it last night due to possible bad weather and rescheduled it for that weekend. Bummer for me as after hearing about all the repairs and upgrades you’ve made to the place I’ve been keen to check it out.

    I’m in.
@Shellshock is going to be in town that weekend (17-19) if he’s wanting to stay later that Sunday- I’ll drag him there for a bit.

    As for that weekend.
I’m looking to do a trip down to Mark Twain Saturday day and possibly/probably overnight down there. I’m currently looking and researching fire roads and roads all down there. I thought about doing moonlight while he was here, but Mark Twain is much larger and camping is more readily available. Everyone and anyone is invited on that Saturday to come meet us and do some trials and roads down there. And if they want to camp out the more the merrier. I’ll post more closer to that weekend.
