I want to purchase a rear sway bar for my new 2019 tacoma. When searching for one I find little available possibly due to new year. Can I use 2016 as a search year and get away with it? Hellwig has a beauty but, more than I need. Don't need adjustability.

As far as I know, Hellwig is the only game in town. You probably won't find too many opinions in this section, as most people are ditching the front sway bar, not adding additional.

Adding a rear sway bar means that you want to run your truck on pavement only? You'll reduce the trucks articulation and create a stiffer ride... right?

My need of 4 wheel drive, is NOT MOAB. When trailering on the highway and roadways, it makes such a difference, based on my experience with other vehicles.

Hellwig is the option you seek, and it's a good one. 3 points of adjustability will probably help you dial in your ride for your load, so it's recommended. i run the middle setting on my 2017. would buy again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all tacos have the same sway bars except for sports models. There's are thicker.

Plus I've read off road users removed their sway bars for movements.

The Offroad is the only model with a different front sway bar. It is 2mm smaller in diameter than the others (Sport, Pro, SR, SR5).

I know because I changed mine out.

OP is asking for a rear sway, unless I’m mistaken. I know OR does not have one

Also sway bars don't make for a stiffer ride..

I've got the Hellwig on the middle setting. Haven't noticed any stiffer ride.

There is no rear sway bar on the OR. Is there one on the Sport? I didn’t think so.

I don’t think there is a rear sway on any of them but I didn’t want to definitively say that because I’m not totally sure
