    Hi guys,

So I currently have a Tacoma 2015 the texas edition and it comes with back up camera, bluetooth and that's pretty much it. I've been ok so far but I was replacing the LED lights next to where the bluetooth microphone is and somehow I forced that tab too much and the bluetooth mic no longer works. Now I am forced to connect my phone thru USB in order to play music. Anyhow, I've been looking for a player or stereo that can still utilize the backup camera, use the steering wheel controls, and also comes with bluetooth microphone. If it has carplay that would be also amazing. I'm not really looking to upgrade speakers just yet. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend a whole lot of money and would like to stay within $400 budget.

I looked into the pioneer 4400, is there anything newer or better for that price range? the alpine ilx-107 seems to have really good reviews and it's going for a bit over $600 right now but that's still a bit too much.. Any suggestions?

    Thank you guys.

    Update:

I found this one in Amazon for just under 300 for the non dvd version..

    https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVH-...6964533&s=gateway&sr=8-4&th=1#customerReviews

Reviews seem good. Now if the unit does not come with a backup camera, would I be able to plugin the one I already have in the truck? It seems good enough anyway.

Is your camera displayed in the mirror or on the radio?

If it's on the radio, you will need the AX-TOYCAM3 (but double check to make sure that's the right one)
If it's on the mirror, there's a bit more work involved.

For SWC, you'll need a module to handle that no matter what. The ASWC-1 is a good unit that has a plug and play harness for it.

All the major brands (kenwood, pioneer, alpine, sony, etc) will come with mics

Thanks a lot for your help, I'm really just now learning about cars in general.

any radio will also need the wiring harness and mounting kit. But the two parts i mentioned will be needed to retain backup cam and swc (and again, double check that camera harness. they make several for toyotas so i might be off on the model number)
