    Correct.

    ----------------------
    ^.......................^
    A .......................B

    Short bed
-------- 16 sheets of ply at 750 lbs.
    ^ resting points

If B lifts the ply how much weight is he lifting ?
Correct. 375 A hell of a lot of weight. Not many at all can do that from chest height. Maybe 1% or less.

Here I thought you were saying for short bed picking it up was 79% of the load. Guess I was confused.

If no one is around when the tree falls, does the tree really make a sound?

He said he lifted and lowered the tailgate. So it is level when finished and he is supporting 1/2 the weight in a short bed or it is crashing into the bed.
Do you let 350 lbs slam your composite bed ?
    If so then your right.

    I'm out of here.

I’m sorry you can’t conprehend. It was me who had the 16 sheets of plywood.

I don’t know the equation, which is complicated. But I know the angle of the material and the length of the material are factors.

Imagine if a 1’ long bar of steel weighed 500lbs. Lifting one end would be very very hard to do. Now imagine a 20’ long bar of aluminum weighs 500lbs. Can you lift the end of it? Yes it would be very easy. Understand?

Now the angle also matters. If you had that 1’ bar of steel flat on your work bench it would be almost impossible to lift up one end. Now if it was on a material cart at a 45 degree angle it would be much easier to lift the upper end.

Unless those boots are tied together hanging on two supports 20 inches apart and one boot fills with water at a rate of 3cm^3 per hour and the evaporation rate is 8% per minute.

I think you’re onto something here. What if one boot is half size smaller? Don’t even get me started on that...

If one size is smaller, the moment of inertia will make it tricky to throw up onto the power lines.

But at what point will one boot/shoe hang lower than the other boot/shoe? These serious questions keep me up at night
