I think you were dead on with the clip being in the right position. Took 3 whacks and popped out effortlessly on the third 10 degree rotation. Cant believe I spent 3 hours working that slide hammer last night and it came out like nothing today.

Welp brought my truck to stevinson west yesterday for brake pad swap and was washing my truck today noticed a giant dent in my right rear fender flare and scratches in the paint along the side... Called and they said bring it in for a manager to look at. Driving an hour round trip on my only day off for this crap.. Never going back there again

I try to do all my own work, half so I don't have to waste time on a day off and the other half is if something gets messed up I have no one else to blame other then myself.

Yeah brakes are usually the one thing I don’t touch but have been watching videos and will probably do them next time. So frustrating. Then apparently the manager they needed to look at it wasn’t in today but they still had me come in... Took pics and said they didn’t take any when it came in so will have to look at security cam to see if they could see the dent. So unbelievably annoying.

The service writer was a good guy, and things happen, but I am pretty upset someone hit something and no one said anything.

100%. I am extremely OCD with my truck and keep it garaged 24/7, and I check it whenever leaving work/any public parking place. Only other place I went since doing a once over Friday after work/before going in to Stevinson was out for breakfast this AM and it’s on my right side not facing the street. Also have shock sensors with a two way compustar system and keep it locked and it would have set them off if it had happened when getting breakfast (even just touching the side sets it off). Whatever they hit they hit pretty hard to dent the flare that much, they would have had to hear it/noticed they hit something when it happened.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
Thanks - I was needing an excuse to order, and saving 20% on the full skid package pushed me over the edge. Now how to get them delivered and installed without my wife noticing?

I keep wondering how to order and install my lift and tires without my wife noticing. Tough luck on that one for me. I guess I’ll just go with “ask for forgiveness not permission”.
