    @ALI3N_123

    And I'm telling you, I admit I was wrong, but both the sheriff's deputy and the cop tried to intimidate me into just paying the ticket. Part of the reason I fought the ticket was a metaphorical way of doing this...

    So basically he spent the $$$$$ to setup a Tacoma like a CAT Team Adjuster would. Yet, he is broke.

    Wonder if he knows he could be making $1,000 a day.... Lol!

    People who live in cars and tiny houses seem as though they only plan for things going right. Taco gets rear-ended in town, and he's living in the woods. Tear a ligament in a knee and that tiny house sleeping loft might as well be Everest.

    Did you read the article? First paragraph he mentioned he moved, which is what started his indevour.

    Or ignorance. But hey, to each their own. Some people have a good reason for what they do and choose to live life a different way. Doesn’t make them stupid though.

    When I started my business I had the opportunity to live nomadic because I was being paid without having to be on location. I decided to live in the back of a van and travel. It wasn’t much different from his setup and as he said, your setup evolves as you see fit. At the end of it I realized how little I needed to really survive and that at the end of the day all you need is a place to rest your head and food in your belly. Because I am debt free I only needed $250 a month for bills and I budgeted another $900 a month for food as I ate out almost every meal rather than having to deal with a kitchen in a small space. I also budgeted another $800 a month in gas. Even after splurging on food I saved up $50k in a year in a half and traveled most of the America’s while doing so. I used the money I saved for a substantial down payment on a house I now live in. In about a year or so when I can step away from running my business and have residual income I will rent my house out for additional income and go back to nomadic lifestyle. I will continue to invest the money I save in real estate around the world so I have places to bounce around to when I get tired of living out of a vehicle. Also I will be making money off renting them out when I’m not staying in them. It’s not for everyone, but some people prefer experiences over things to make them happy in life.

    I’d like to know how much the vehicle and all the mods cost as well as his cost of living per year.
    Would be nice to see how much you save living that way.

    I have done some radical things to save cost of living but not quite this radical. I probably wouldn’t be up for it. I would just move from a HCOL area. Not sure what keeps people living there if they can’t afford it.
    But when you are young, single, with no kids thats the time to do this stuff.
