The same shit everyone else has.
Lubed the shit outta the intermediate shaft U joint. Random stiff steering wheel is no more. I assume this’ll just be a bandaid on the U joint since it’s got 130k miles on it.

I made a little more progress on my diy road shower.

    upload_2019-5-4_22-51-33.jpg

Everything is almost allsorted. Just gotta glue it all together now and give it a test then finalize the mounting hardware.

Into it under 100$ with all the parts and shit to make it work so far.

Did your top come with the straps or are you using something else. Mine don't have straps so I use some Velcro ones from some old headrest dvd players.

Thanks man I’ve used the site a lot but just joined and glad I did. Yeah I’ve read a lot of stories of people being taken advantage of. I’m not the type of person that will happen too lol. How’s the new frame? Did you have to go back and have anything redone? Thanks

Washed it and hit it with some spray wax. Used a rag with some ATF and hit my rear bumper caps to make them black again. Put some tire shine it the coopers and then looked at my POR 13 frame. 13 y.o. frame needs a good wipe down and it'd look brand new. Dont look to close at my paint, it might oxidize more. Damn AZ sun:annoyed:

Mine came with the straps. This is actually the first time I have collapsed it since I installed it a few years ago. I need to haul a washer, so having it collapsible is turning out to be handy.

I think its hit it miss with dealers.

Our trucks come with 3 denzo spark plugs and 3 NGK spark plugs off the factory line. Not sure why, but I know Toyota dealers and parts department only carry denzo. So if they change them during servicing you end up with 6 denzo. My truck was still under warranty at 30k so I had the dealership do my 30k maintenance for free. I checked my records and this included a spark plug change as it should of per the service schedule by Toyota. Well today I changed my spark plugs for my 60k and there were 3 NGK still in there. Those fuckers did not change them at 30k.

Your lucky to have a good one.

Fun weekend for the Taco. New Depo LED tails installed yesterday and Avid off-road sliders installed today. I'm a happy dude. :D

Got a mild lift a week ago!
Put a K&N in it three weeks ago!
Just have fun with it every chance I get!

Me too. Pretty cheap on ebay, but seem rather popular on here so hopefully they hold up. Gets rid of the chrome and they match my blacked out headlights now.

I brought my new-to-me 2009 up the California coast and stuffed her in my garage! Oh, you’re asking about tinkering? I checked my spare’s tire pressure and began detailing the interior! Loving the Access cab and the truck itself!

This is on my "To Do" list. Got an estimate on how much volume of POR-15 you had to use?
