    UPDATE:

It’s been a little while since I’ve been on here. I wanted to give a little update.

I have placed a bulk order for the 4Runners. I have 100 Kits that should be here within the next 20 Days! I’m having a hard time with the Vendor trying to locate Female Connector but I am able to locate it in Japan. However, if I have to go that route, it just might be a little more expensive.

Today I started to wire up my Mirrors finally!

Is that a power folding, ditched light, blind spot camera L/R, Mesofied turn signals and puddle light equipped mirror?!

    Where do I sign up?

After that post you now sound Sleepy, Dopey, and Grumpy. Oh! You also mentioned that you've done pretty well in life while having a poor writing style so maybe you're also Doc.

It is what I am calling on my Build Thread...

    “THE” ULTIMATE SIDE MIRROR BUILD

    My Objectives:
    • Power Folding Mirrors
    • Upgrade Turn Signal LED with Smoked Housing & RGB LED Lighting
    • Integrated Switchback (White) LED Puddle Lights with Smoked Housing at the Bottom - Will be triggered to illuminate the entry upon approaching the Truck and/or Unlocking the Truck
    • Integrated Switchback (Amber) LED Turn Signals with Smoked Housing at the Bottom - Will be triggered to tie in with the Side Mirror Turn Signals.
    • Integrated Rigid Ignite Ditch Lights with Custom Black Grommet Trim
    • Integrated Blind Spot Side Cameras with Custom ME-SO Built-In Camera Pods
    • RAV4 OEM Mirrors with Blind Spot Swap
I was going over everything I did on it with @MESO, and I was like, well if it wasn’t for this idea of yours or this product of yours, I wouldn’t have my mirror. It wasn’t his idea for the Ditch Light I don’t believe, now I could be wrong, but I believe he was the first to do a Build on them. Obviously it is his Smoked Out Turn Signal Housing. He recommended the place where I was able to get the Smoked Out Puddle Housings, but that was where he originally installed his before he came out with his ME-SO Puddle Pods. Oh yeah...that I corrupted and asked him to convert for me my own edition for my Cameras. :rofl:Which he did for me!!! Thank you! Thank you! They are absolutely wonderful! So I’ve collected all of these mods into my head of what I’ve liked and what I’ve wanted to change and I did it. Which all led me to what is now....one BADASS MIRROR!!!!!

I cannot wait to power up the Power Folding Addition and start making Videos.

I made a little markup of what I’m thinking for the routing for the Extension Harness:

    AE2284C8-9E20-43DB-A9EA-4503DBD2CCF5.jpg

So I extended the Passenger Side (Green/Black) Wires to Double the length as the 4Runners pretty much so we will see how that works out today. The Drivers Side (Red/Black) Wires I shortened a lot to only 2 ft vs the 4Runners since our Switch is like right there. So far, I’ve completely the very first corner on the right

Well I think I was able to get the hardest part out of the way this weekend. I have to say that wiring through the door grommets are DEFINITELY not my FAVORITE thing to do, especially the Driver’s Side. I mean doing one wire, like the Power Folding Extension Harness would have been one thing, but doing like 7 definitely made it a bit more challenging on my part. :) Go Big or Go Home, they Say!

I started with the Passenger Side, depending on you personally, it might be easier to start with the Driver’s Door first with the Extension Harness because then you only have to run one wire through the grommet verses two or three. However, here are some more pics of my wiring process...

I have to say, the Extension Harness, almost perfect in measurement. You will have about a foot of extra wire or so that I just stored in the Driver’s Door. However, if you start in the Driver’s Door, you will then store it in the Passenger’s Door. There is a little extra on the 2 feet side because we obviously do not have 2 feet from the Mirror to where our Switch is located, but I would rather have extra Wire than to run too short so I just doubled it up right here and used some electrical tape.

I think you can barely even notice it. Other than that, I’m extremely happy with how the Extension Harness came out for the Tacoma!

    More wiring coming soon :)

I think it is the joint piece that attaches the mirror to the door.

If you have seen Meso's puddle lights, it is in the same area.

Ah ok. I've mistaken it for meso puddle lights. The strips are the puddle lights. Thanks for the addt'l pics, katie.

Yeah. No. Before MESO came out with his Puddle Lights I had planned to put my Cameras in this location and I was just going to drill a hole originally. Then like a month later he came out with his plan about these Puddle Light pods and I thought to myself if he would possibly adjust them for me for my cameras so that I didn’t have to drill a hole. I also wanted them to look more factory. Therefore, I shot him a message and asked and he said yes. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The lines and how everything caries over, it looks like it was meant to be there.
