    Still cold and raw.
Guess I’ll work on the deck railings for a while. 7:10 am, time to get the miter saw going...
When I get a lot of money I might spurge on a bigger one. Kinda sucks I can’t run through a 4x4 in one pass. Don’t use it often but not it’s nice to have..

I don’t cut too many 4x4s but have made the best out of a pos ryobi one for years

Yes having a miter saw that cuts through a 4x4 is handy. I had a 12” that would cut through on a 45*, sold it to a buddy. When I was building houses for a living I had 3. All were sliding compound, 7.25”, 10”,and the 12”. I still have my 10”, it will do 90% of what I need. Prices have come down on those saws considerably.

Plane tickets are paid for. Doing AirBnB for accommodations, cheaper than a hotel. We will be renting a two bed, two bath apartment for a week.

Gonne be awesome driving on the wrong side off the road and on the wrong side of the car.

@Casper66 , I hope all goes well tomorrow. Starting a new career at our age has got to be nerve racking. Just be yourself, be confident, it all works out in the end.

I bought that Dewalt cordless sliding compound at work. It's pretty cool. Does everything I've wanted to do. 4x6, plastic pipe, aluminum decking. Works great.

...and I can only work thru tomorrow. I only have one more pair of pants hanging in the closet so I'm going to have take a day off to at least do laundry.

The whacker got me the other day compacting under the pipe inlets. I'd like to have a compactor attachment for the excavator.
