It's less Tacoma and more mod
Clad weld it and rebore it, or use a bonze oil impregnated bushing

Nothing spectacular. 8 gauge would have been waaay more than enough and I am sure 10 would have worked too. But I had a bunch of 6 gauge and would rather have it setup if I ever do something bigger someday (for the radios). Some going to the sub amp there, amp on the driver side for the door speakers, cb radio, cb radio amp, and installing a ham soon where the 4runner console parking brake would be.

That looks like the bushing that goes on the manual transmission shift lever.

I had my stuff not fused for the longest time and it was an absolute birds nest. We all know how scary that could be if some insulation rubbed off in the wrong spot... Gotta do something about it!

Would've never crossed my mind without seeing it. It's one of those type of things, it's nice to know but I hope I never need to know. Lol

Changed oil, replaced A/C idler pulley, refinished mud flaps and installed an old satellite receiver I had lying around.

Do it yourself! Even though it's later than earlier in its life you can start a passionate love affair with it! Not joking either. Start with rotating your tires. While you have em off remove one bolt on the caliper and you can inspect your brake pads, etc. Grease the ujoints in the drive lines, inspect and test the lbjs.... Now that's how you celebrate it's birthday.... And don't plaster it all over some social media site to try and impress people you don't really care about, nor them you.
Rest easy knowing you truly have shown your love and appreciation for your most reliable pickup in North American history (worldwide would be the hilux:D)

The splines get moly grease and the u joints get regular wheel bearing grease. I use synthetic for both. But Toyota doesn't spec synthetic, Dino grease is fine

i have no extra charge life-of-tires rotation at DT,
perhaps lubing those door hinges that keep squeaking whenever the climate changes would be a good idea
i care about other people (or at least try to!)

Fine. Nevermind. I take it back.
Use a silicone spray lube or PTFE spray lube for your hinges....
Or keep wd-40ing them every few weeks:rofl:
