No need to over complicate things. Preventative maintenance is important but use the KISS method. Keep It Simple Stupid it is what I tell myself all the time

There's a whole line of POR 15 products for numerous applications. Colors, topcoats, rust preventatives, ect. Good stuff & they're damn proud of it ($$). But it works if used as specifically directed. We have a whole isle end-cap devoted to it at the NAPA I deliver for. I keep a small can (2 oz ?) in the garage. Comes in handy.

Installed the NFab tire carrier. Fit like a glove and hovers above the bed rather than mounted to it. No drilling.

Its pretty cool man, if you really like getting into details in audio controls and frequencies there’s an app for the iPhone. Capacitive Touch screen seems to work well, have to get used to having volume buttons instead of a knob. Favorite part is having apple maps and waze on the screen and using Siri to play music.
Also with an OBD2 add on you can get engine temp trans temp oil pressure and miles till empty gauge, along with a few other stats.

The main reason I got it was wireless apple CarPlay.

    Bed lined my camper shell.
It’s actually taken about a week to do it right, but I just put it back on the truck today.

Who are you and what are you saying?

BTW: That is good advise on the POR, I had that on my list of things to do and now will relook at what I will do and probably just hit my sliders with rustolium...

Depending on what finish you want on your sliders, I just brusk on DIY bedliner and then spray about 3-4 coats of spray paint in satin black over them. The DIY bedliner has very little UV protection either.

I’m kinda lazy, so the finish I want is not rust color.... anything is good with me

Sounds like the original POR 15 might be the ticket, IF the area is not exposed to direct sunlight. I know they have a topcoat for UV protection if needed.
    Bone up on it here:
