Had to go to pa this week. My uncle passed away unexpectedly last Sunday. Honestly hate going back up to pa any more. Left me the house and farm. Not sure what my wife and I are gunna do with it. Almost a yr to the day since we moved. We deff ain’t moving back.

Will prolly sell the house and keep the farm for a hunting property. Fuckin taxes are astronomical up there though. When the weather is nice, it’s beautiful. Had one day of sunshine and warm temps, mid 70. Wed morning was 33 when I woke up, I don’t miss the cold.

Yes when the weather is nice is awesome. I grew up hunting those mtns and they and near and dear to my heart. In that picture they are 17 miles away.

Have some close childhood friends who farm for a living and are wanting the property but idk what we are gunna do yet. Could lease the farming rights to pay for the taxes and keep the land to hunt. Sell the house. That’s the direction I am leaning.

It would be really hard for me to give that up, but I get it. PA is gorgeous when the weather is right. Whatever you decide to do, good luck with it, and I am sorry to hear about your uncle. Prayers for the family, man.

Every state & area has it’s great & poor points.
PA is great in the summer, fall, & spring. Winter can get rough.

SC is great in the winter, spring, & fall are great, while summer gets HOT.

Old family land has many, many draws. It’s HARD to walk away. Good luck with that decision.

Pa doesn’t have a spring and fall haha. It’s either raining or snowing. The temp swings are crazy. It just reminded me how dark and gloomy it is for 9-10 months out of the year. The sunshine and weather down here is really hard to beat for us. We love it.

Reminds me of the line from Casablanca ...
    “I was misinformed.”

Folks I used to know were from PA & always talked of the beautiful summers & spring mornings. I’d rather take the hot summers over rough winters. (They moved back & we lost touch.)
That is also why folks (“snowbirds”) winter down here & summer up there. Oh, for the flexibility & extra money to be able to do that.

I am sorry for your loss. Family loss can be rougher than the PA winter.

Played that 5 years ago and it was essentially sit in the mud and spin your way out.

How do you get other vehicles and stuff? I downloaded it again last night after you mentioned it, still looks like the same game. :mudding:

I dread this day. Condolences sir.

My grandma has a family farm in Wisconsin, 200ac, noone knows what her plan is. I'm not entirely sure I could move my family up there either.

Spintires has been around for a while.
Unfortunately there were some issues with the developer and he bailed from the company I believe and went elsewhere.
Support stopped for the game and alot of people were pissed.

Mudrunner is a spinoff from spintires and hasn't been out that long. It may be the same dev who made spintires.

Now....spintires is back in the loop and with some new developers and is picking up some steam. They added rain tesselation and some other stuff.

You can download hundreds of other vehicles and maps thru the steam menu for either game.

Where it says "subscribe" is actually download.

I downloaded the Mudrunner on Xbox. It did say it came out in 2019, but it looks to be essentially the same as the Spin tires I played on PC. I'll have to look into other vehicles for Xbox.

Ahh...yea. I don't know how you would go about that on Xbox. I'm on pc.
