Bought the third gen pro shifter knob during the Toyota sale and installed it and a boot today. Love how it's a lower profile than stock.

How did you attach the 3rd Gen shift knob to the stock 2nd Gen shifter?
How did you attach the shift boot? I was thinking about doing a boot as well, but hadn't thought about how to attach it.

It just screws on like a stock one. I bought the boot off eBay and trimmed it and attached with hot glue. There is a thread on here somewhere with a lot more detail

Thanks, I thought the 3rd Gen was quick attach/detach and the 2nd Gen is M8x1.25.

Off to search for the thread....

Had a laundry list of stuff to do this weekend, only got about half finished. Weather and a couple other hiccups slowed me down.

Got the front brakes done (double clipped thanks to TW), bfh the pinch weld, trim fenders (flare will have to wait, had a hardware issue), painted the inner fenders a bit, greased my uca’s, finally did the ac drain mod.

And might as well cook some bbq while wrenching...

If the hyperflash doesn't bother me is there any reason to fix it other than the speed of the blinker? I don't mind it but I also don't want my truck to catch fire because I installed an LED blinker haha

Wrong thread, don't care. I added a friend in addition to the Tacoma.

I’ve read a ton of threads. I was just curious about where the set came from that looks like it almost pops into the pro grill. First time I’ve seen that.

Did custom car grill and paint match surround. Also took hub caps off. The grill was a pain in the ass!

How much are 2012-2015 Taco headlights going for these days?

I've decided to go back to my factory grill, so I pulled it out of the basement and took it apart to clean it up. Rather than painting the chrome surround (the whole reason I bought an aftermarket grill in the first place) I decided to order some black vinyl to wrap it instead.

Did you swap the mirror caps or did yours come like that?
