I like the idea myself.

 

Well, it started on a rainy night at our local Cotton Carnival. I started drinking Bloody Marys at around 11am. By the time I had my go on the Scrambler, I was lit up and ready to tackle the night. Then a song came on over the loud speaker. I couldn't quite place the band, but that voice echoed thru my veins like molten lava. I knew our paths would cross. Destiny, you say? Whatever the name for it, I knew my life had somehow changed for the better at that moment.

It'd be pretty cushy to come back as our dog. Well, except the part where your balls get cut off.

 

Oh. I was seeing if there was an interest.

Later, after visiting with friends just outside of the cotton candy stand, my mind drifted back to that soothing voice. I had to know who this teaser of words was! I started the usual carnival inquiry, "hey man, who was that girl on the loud speaker earlier?", you know, shit like that. Well, it became clear that the local trash had no idea to whom I was referring. I had to dig deeper! I went home both disappointed and eager. When I awoke the next day I had just one mission. Find out who this mythical beauty was. I started early. 3am. I began my search at the local know it all's house. He's the guy that can answer all of your questions.

I was fishing and had been set up there on the beach for 30 hours at that point. Mid day and it's hot. Seems all the people from the valley floor decided to head to the mountains just to come swim in the cool lake water. 30 people show up behind me, strip down to their suits. Next, running to the water.... this was my view pretty much for the next 5 hours. Wtf! Never mind the lines with the hooks on them.

Dad just turned 93. I am doing a combined B-day and Mother’s Day visit . Ask him what he wanted he said ,no beer , ice cream. I usually bring him a six pack that last forever. Whatever he want I don’t care.

 

Its just hard to understand how anyone can not like beer. Music provided by the birds. Not Byrds. Although they are a favorite.
