Tacos in St. Louis area

That guy is huge in the European R/C market and has been at it for years. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from him again if I were to get back into R/C toys. I’ve bought items direct from China and Vietnam and have never been burned or lied to. A few shipping delays due to their addiction to paying for the absolute cheapest rate but that’s it.

Was there someone in here selling a 3rd gen suspension? I vaguely remember there was.. I still haven’t made it to a mod day, but I’m hoping I’ll be home for the next one (11th?). There’s a couple sets on CL in KC and all over the FS forums that I’m looking at also. I’m just looking to do a simple OEM style level, so the 3rd gen TRD OR looks about right. I’d also like to add a leaf in the rear to help when I have my bike in the bed.

I’ve got two sets of wheels and tires for the Tacoma mate. I’m in the market for riding lawn mower tires now as mine are dry rotted.

Shrockworks was cheaper by a lot, but their sliders didn't have the kickouts on the end like I wanted. All about preference lol, I could have gotten shrockworks sliders powdercoated for less than what I paid for bare metal RCI sliders.

 

I did that for my 4runner not too long ago but the weight distributions should be about the same, I'll see if I can get it uploaded sometime today. Only major weight difference I think would be the bumpers, skids should all be relatively the same.

@miamijime Here is what I drew up for the T4R, Highlighted is added weight per wheel. Its a little sloppy but it got the job done. This is for full set of Shrockworks sliders, Shrockworks front bumper with hoops and winch, RCI Sliders, and Coastal Off-road rear bumper with dual swingouts no gear. With planned gear (dual Jerry Cans, spare tire, and Hi-lift) Ill be looking at adding another 100 lbs (roughly) to each rear wheel

 

Hey Willy224 I like the way you think! I created this diagram from the jacking points illustration. Have to use careful wording to avoid hilarious malaprops. My measurements are broader, figured front/rear split just past transmission. Sent this to the Dobinsons rep to see if he agrees with my component choice.
