Uhhhh, I think this is where I get to ask if YOU even read the article. First paragraph says he's moved his stuff out of his old apartment and put them in a storage unit. That ain't moving. Moving is changing locals, jobs, etc. Obviously, if he thinks his best option living there is living in his truck, his job sucks. Pretty sure my thought process would be look for a better place to live/work before I choose living in the bed of my truck, but that's me.

    Hope he likes being single.

Most of them are capitalizing on the family wealth created by hard-working previous generations. At least the ones with the Patagonia jackets and titanium spoons. They’ll always put some bullshit line in their media like “we sold it all to live on the road”.......but in truth, mom’s a Lawyer, dad’s a Doctor, and the folks are both getting on in years.......so the “nomads” have the liberty of spending almost all of their measly YouTube income on Wigwam socks and Silicone tongs......while waiting on that big graveyard payday, or another advance from ma and pa while they are still breathing.

Whew....that is such a relief to me knowing that you're not just sucking at the family wealth teat. You're a good boy, keep up the good work, TW is a better place because of your hard work.

After losing my apartment in San Diego I moved into my taco with a 1983 FWC Fleet Shell for 6 months.

I've since upgraded after moving to the PNW.

Man, I'm almost old, but I don't think I'll ever regret not living in a box.

Looks cool though for a single guy.

I could certainly see living in something like that on a good piece of land until you could build.

Oh I agree its cool, not saying it doesn't have its down sides but the places I have been without the anchor that is a house have been well worth it. Unlike the Californian hipster van lifers it was out of necessity I had a full time GS employment and decided I no longer wanted to play the housing game anymore. (I do own property in NC)

So you when you want to invite a girl over you have to host them in the bed of your midsize truck? Classy.

That said it's the perfect method to make a girl break up with you. Few things get women eager to dump you like "I live out of my vehicle".

Think he said after college in the 70s, that would take him out of the young people category. Just sayin.

He spent the equivalent of a house down payment to live full time like a dirtbag. Lots of stupid Instagram pics maybe but not so much pussy. Maybe he just couldn't bring himself to go all the way and join the seminary.

    On a side note:

I really wish people would drop the whole “Millennial” bullshit. God that gets so old hearing.

    Why not?

Do you really think 80% of all 22-37 year olds on this forum are really what people say millennials are?
