Took a drive down the coast to Big Sur. Started raining on the way pretty good. Took a side trip up Nacimiento Road....

On the way back I started up Old Coast Road but since it was raining so hard quickly realized I was about to get into some real trouble. The silt they use to get rid of the washboard from previous rains is like ice and my tires were caked (sorry; no pics because I probably would’ve ended up on my ass if I had attempted to get out of the truck). Needless to say I almost slid into the hillside attempting to correct myself; pretty scary stuff when the sipes in the treads are packed with this stuff, it’s like steering a sailboat! Glad I got out though (don’t think my traction boards would’ve been much use).

continuing from my custom homelink install

Had grabbed the front spoiler from a non-offroad truck last year at some point but never got around installing it. Ordered the clips from the dealer and they told me that it wouldn't fit but were still happy to make the sale with their 300% markup on parts.
My front bull bar developed a rust spot and got replaced for free by the vendor; friend of mine who is in the banking industry needed some mentoring so we ended up up removing the old bull bar, test fitting, cutting the front spoiler and putting everything back together.

Same cover I’ve had for 2 years. Do have some of the stitching on the top cover starting to fray.

    Awesome thanks.

I’ve been eyeing the all black ones. Did you do the rears as well? Or just the fronts
