Just got my ‘19 4x4 sport on April 11. In the Longwood/Apopka area south of Wekiva Springs state park. I’ve regularly seen some tacos around the area that look like forum members would be driving!

Looking forward to becoming a part of the local community as well as online

Okay so I'm new to all this knowledge of tires and lifts because this is the first vehicle that I have purchased for more than just having a vehicle. But it was not stock. This was a package that most dealers in the Southeast Toyota group offer that was installed before I had purchased. 17in rims with these tires on it 265/65R17, as well as a lift that I do not know the specs of. I originally was not planning on purchasing(in fact I was waiting for the 2020s but realized most of the stuff theyre adding was not that important to me and I didnt want to wait nearly a year til the price dropped on them) the day I went to look but this one had 98% of everything I wanted and they gave me a great deal on my trade in plus the purchase so I jumped on it

Yeah I figured those were KO2s. But did not know that the dealer put them on. Those tires are really popular on the forum.

Thank you! Yes I would consider stock as something that came directly from the assembly plant and I assume that's what most people would define as stock. But this is how I purchased it brand new. Not sure why they would put these on a sport over an OR, especially since they had an OR there that was exactly the same in terms of packages and equipment and they put the tires and lift on it 2 days prior to me buying. Apparently the day after I bought it 2 separate people from over 2 hours away drove to the dealer to get it. Makes me feel like it was meant to be just stumbling onto it without any intentions of going home with a new truck lol

Edit: part of me making my decision was they usually charged $3800 for the lift/tires/rims but were offering $2k off, had I asked them to put it on another tacoma they wouldve charged me the full price

Damn, those are sick. I just bought a '19 Off Road from Central Florida Toyota last weekend, talked them into adding the tube steps and weather mats and down in price a good bit, wish I knew about those tires as an option lol!

Might hit you up on that sometime. Where are there trails in our area that would be good for a newbie? I know there’s stuff all over CFL but nothing specific

I’ve been to croom and citrus both west of Orlando. I haven’t run into anything that a stock 4wd couldn’t make. It seems that at any obstacle, there is an alternate way to get around it. Personally I enjoy the parts where focus is necessary. I’m pretty new to it also. This is my first 4wd vehicle and I like to test its limits as well as mine

Hey man, welcome to TW! This is my second Tacoma, the first I've purchased new on June 9 from David Maus in Sanford. I live in Oviedo and work in Maitland just south of Weikiva and plan on heading out to Croom and Citrus soon to wheel and maybe camp. I'm sure I'll see you around.
