Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) is a good place to start to get a general idea of what your truck might be worth in a private party, trade in or resale. Then you can make a determination of what your mods are worth and whether or not you'd want to sell them with the truck or take them off and sell them individually.

Don't be lazy, do your own homework...

I have to say negative on KBB. If you want an accurate assessment of what your vehicle is worth, check nada.com. Call your States department of insurance and ask them what they use to determine actual cash value. None of them will tell you KBB. The majority of States use NADA, Autosource or both, some use Mitchell's which references several sources. Also check Autotrader.com. There is a reason a dealer won't pull out NADA, (even though they are members) because they don't want to give you that much on your trade. KBB is a low ball book. The easist and most accurate value other than NADA is find a bunch of comps and throw out the high and the low, (Autotrader) and average the rest, then take off 5%. The average would be the asking price which is typically 5% higher than the take price, that is why you deduct 5%. Good luck.

DC 4x4 is what everyone wants, the ultimate Taco, set your price high and go from there. Better yet, don't sell it (assuming thats what we're talking about since your initial post is nuked).

This guy was too lazy to check kbb... you think he's going to check all those sites??
I agree with you, you really need to be prepared when buying or selling so you don't get screwed in the deal. I just recommended kbb as a starting point if you have no clue what range you should be selling your truck for. It's a great reference tool and easy to use. I've found depending on where you live, locals put more weight into either NADA or KBB pricing.
