    Fellas I've been skimming but theres just too much stuff on many if these threads and I dont know proper key words for what i need to know apparently.
    So my 06 has a 1 inch body lift (previous owner) and I'm going to install 886 coils and spc uca's. I'm also planning on OME EL096R springs to replace my stock setup and aal. With this in mind, does a guy need anything such as driveline spacers, dif drop, or carrier bearing drop kits? I've heard that carrier bearing drops can make things worse as well as dif drops.
    Thanks for educating me. I'm very new to TW

    It's not super complicated, just different set ups for different reasons. Any particular way you are going to use the truck.... dirt or mall?

    Do you have any armor like a bumper or skids? The 886 is meant to handle some weight. If you don’t, the 885 is a great option. I have 885’s on my truck with 5100’s and they ride great. Also, if you haven’t looked into JBA UCA’s I highly recommend them! Super easy to maintain and use a common ball joint you can find anywhere. I got 3.5* of caster on both sides with 0 toe and 0 camber!

    Mostly mall right now I guess. I've been trying to plan excursions for the last year but both lack of time and not having the setup I want has been holding me back. I'd love to go off the beaten trail

    The truck is perfectly capable to do most things in stock configuration.
    As stated above the 886 coils are very stiff, if running no weight up front.
    The carrier bearing and diff drop are debatable. You really won't know until you lift it and check the angles. Check them before the lift and after. Angled shims for the rear help with that. Typically 1 degree per inch of lift.

    I have a hitch reciever with recovery points on the front from Mobtown, but I couldnt tell you what it weighs
    Ideally I will eventually have a bumper but for now I'm super happy with my mobtown gear
    I was going to get 885s but I found a guy selling brand new 886s for less than half price buying new so I decided to go that route

    Okay cool
    I assume that I'll be able to find proper angles for everything somewhere here. If I went to an alignment shop I assume that they'd be able to measure for me?

    Oh shit.... ok. Yeah that does pose a issue I suppose. Hopefully I have a answer though.
    @ImplicitlyAlberta
    Also you know there is a Canada section to this forum. That's going to be the best place to ask all your shop related questions.

    Nice! I did not know there was a Canadian section. I'll definitely have to look there tomorrow if I get a chance

    The point is though.... if the truck is running fine now, it should be the same after the lift. Keeping all driveline / axle / CV joint angles as they are currently.
