The posted that the sale would end Sunday. Code didn’t work, so when I called them out on it, they say oh well it ended at 12:01 Sunday morning. Which is basically freakin Saturday night. Then have the nerve to say I’m complaining!!! They then reactivated the code to work for today

Then he should have been able to get you the numbers to print out or at least show you. Sounds like he got lazy and didn’t want to do it properly. It’s VERY common with alinement techs unfortunately, especially with lifted trucks. They require more adjustment to get them in spec. Take it somewhere else

I didn't know to ask. I'm going to go back and have it realigned. I didnt want to waste his time or mine if someone here may have already known how to correct problems with a 2nd gen tacoma with Billies

Ok, when you lift a vehicle (Tacoma/4Runner/FJ Cruiser) without swapping UCA’s and go to get it aligned you’ll more than likely get your toe and camber writhing specs but your caster won’t be in spec. Caster is the degree your spindle is and it’ll affect handling. Think how hard it is to control a wheel when the fork or spindle is straight up and down vs. at an angle. Sure, if sucks to drive sometimes and takes a little more effort to keep it between the lines but it’s not the end of the world for your truck.

Like it’s been said. Decrease lift or get adjustable UCA’s. One of those two options is what you need

    1. "Everyone" don't say go Bilstein. A little research here on TW you would of found many Fox owners who used to run Bilstein on the Fox threads. No matter what the brand 2" is still 2" and when you get close to it you should be thinking about UCA's to correct caster.

Hey everyone, I finally got around to installing the upper control arms. And it's an amazing difference. I'm probably going to run this setup for awhile. However a 4 to 6 inch maybe in the future. Thanks for all the help.

I have the Toytec 3” coilovers that use bilstein 5100’s and jba ucas. Like most guys here have said either get the uca’s or gone down a bit on the bilsteins. If your alignment guy still can’t get it right get a new alignment guy. 9C8542C3-1508-4528-946F-EC014473FFA9.jpg

After reading this thread I am for sure not looking forward to reading the thread when you go to a 4-6 lift and have to cut the frame.....lol

You need Adj. uca's if you insist on 2.5 inch on the Bilsteins, end of story.Lots of threads about that fact if you would of googled it.

Ok guys I installed the spc ucas. Alignment and drive is alot better. But now I've got a clunking noise coming from what seems like the ball joint. I greased them I torqued every bolt and rechecked. I have left nothing loose and absolutely everything torqued by spec. Any ideas before this becomes a land cruiser
