    Some really cool shit

I'm a ground camper. No RTT for me. Do have a shell, so sleep in there if it's raining, or the wife didn't come along.

I’m finicky about this. I actually have a “bathroom kit” for those times when a public toilet is necessary. In the kit is a pouch of disinfectant wipes, wet wipes(whatever brand the wife buys for the babies bum is good enough for me I guess), toilet paper and a stack of paper towels if it’s a super nasty shitter.

Now, if I’m camping, I have a Dometic cassette toilet I bring for the wife. Sometimes I’ll bring it for the solo trips but it’s a bit much. Most of the times I’ll just shit in the desert/woods...

Kind of a shot in the dark here but my buddy who lives in Truckee just got accepted for a 9 month position working for the Marin County Wild Lands Fire Dept. He'll be back and forth between Truckee and Marin starting this summer and through the fire season (March 2020). He's looking for either a room for rent, or a space to park a van where he'll stay when he's working.

If anyone knows a room for rent, van space, etc in the Marin area, as far north as Novato, or as far south as San Rafael/ Sausalito, maybe SF, drop me a PM. He's having a tough time finding something affordable or close by at this point, so I told him I'd reach out to everyone here.

    Thanks,
    DR

I'm from LA, but was up North this weekend, and spotted this guy in Kensington/Berkeley yesterday morning/noon-ish.

I wonder if those are like the ones they use in the hospital. They were like giant wet wipes as big as a large hand towel. I forgot all about those.

Edit: The rei one's are much smaller...8"x8".

Edit #2: These are about 20X30 inches. That's more like it.

Not enough to have a build thread.
    Much like!

Lots of people dont realize how bad many types of wipes are for the environment. Those are awesome - adult sized, made from sustainable resources, and biodegradable. Much approve.

I didn't even notice that at first. Kinda makes me want to get some yoga pants.

Saw a pretty nicely outfitted Silver Taco at Petco in Santa Clara last night. Wanna say it had "Adventure365" sticker on the tailgate.
