Not going to sugar coat it... that sucks. I’d start the warranty/return process, and rent a body for your trip.

 

A couple from the end of March. My 70-200 has become so soft in the corners it might finally be time for a replacement. You can see it in the trees on the first shot, top right. Not sure it's worth having it fixed... old Sigma non-OS version.

Mavic Air, Uwharrie National Forest

 

I have some left over items from before I upgraded to full frame that I'd rather see go to a good home than just tossed by the wayside. I've got a few ND filters (6 stop, 10 stop) all 52mm threads, remote release compatible with Nikon MC-DC2 inputs, and 2 EN-EL 14 batteries (3rd party) with dual charging base. I'm not so much concerned with getting money for them as I am recycling them so someone can make use of them... I looked up the nearest local camera shop and it's an 1.5+ drive which doesn't seem worth the trip just for that. Thought I'd toss them up on here in case anyone's interested.

 

Getting ready to trek to Yellowstone to photograph the Harlequin Ducks later this week. Can hardly wait! Here are a few recent photos to pass the time.
