For all who witnessed the Stampede in person:

I do hope the event met and exceeded expectations. It was my intention to take my rig to a new level, based on testing on my land and from Stampede last year.
Over the last year I put over 100 hrs of work to make it safe and more controllable on a short course. It was not my intention to flop.

For all of you who have only see the video:

The reason I did not turn Driver to avoid the rhythm section and prevent the flop: That correction would have taken me in the direction of the spectators. I was aware of the situation, fully under control and choose to power up to slip the rear and flattrack clockwise to move to the center of the berms. After the big jump you can see me lift, look over the situation and hammer it.

    The Stampede Course:

It was perfect! Very well thought out with good solid rock base for all the jumps. I really hope we keep the current track master :)
The traction was amazing and the main reason I could not correct.
The front driver side tire had so much traction, I could not compress the rear (Squat) with max power power to lift/unload the front (It's only a V6). A real V8 could have lifted the front, and allowed me to flattrack clockwise.

For everybody who assisted in rolling me over. Thank you. I think it was less than a minute.
Ultra 4 recovery could not touch the job you folks did!
It was funny, sitting in my rig on its side and Nathan's big beard appears and yells .. .. ..

    !Checkers! !OR !Wrecker!

    Good times.. Good times :)

So, safety equipment is no joke.

I use a 5 point harness do use the anti submarine strap and keep the seat further back to prevent broken knees/legs in a hard impact with the dash.
The cage cannot impact my head, knees or shoulders.
    My shifters clear my knees
The Corbeu seat is a suspension set, and soaks up landing impacts..

    oh..

and the Girls "HelloKitty" Helmet is a must

    Damage: skin deep.

I need both front fenders, hood, cowl, both right and left bedsides, windshield and minor massaging of the cab top.

If you have line of sight on these for sale, shoot me a message :)

    What's next
    1. Measurements: Lil truck goes back on his holding jigs for frame measurements and to allow gravity to let the frame settle after I loosen all of the skid and top skin bolts. The jig is custom built and balances the truck in two points outside of the skidplate at its center of gravity. It places the belly 24 inches off the floor and allows full droop. This enables me to freely cycle the suspension and to drop the skidplate if I need to. (see the video at about 27 seconds) Last night I really did not see any shifting or damage of tube.
    2. Replace the skins, hood, bedsides
    3. Do my final planned rebuild of the rear section with a smaller fuel cell and to tube out where the old frame is chopped.
    4. An Adjustable trophy truck sway bar
    5. Rear Bumpstops

We will be back next year (With Jambo leadership's blessing) and one again..
    It's Checkers or Wrecker

You are very welcome. it would be a crime to leave anyone outside in a 60 mile an hour squall....

BTW, I loaned\setup the 50 watt radio for the crew to use "privately", an antenna to match that and another antenna\Mag mount to allow Jane to call back to the pavilion on her handheld. Before dinner, I officially donated all of it to the Jambo crew; so next year they should be very well prepped comms wise.
