I still think as far as acting goes, that Cersei (Lena Headey) is hands down the best in this show. Good lord do I really f'ing hate her, but that means she's doing exactly what she's supposed to. Absolutely perfect job at playing that part imo.

Agreed, & I personally love Peter Dinklage's acting as well

 

Joffrey and Ramsey were both disgustingly believable as well.

 

Cersei kills Daenerys, Arya kills Cersei, Sansa and Tyrian get married again and take the throne. Everyone treats Jon like the bastard shit he is.

 

That's my vote.

This season's writing just doesn't seem to be on par with prior seasons.

 

Agreed, it started last season and is painful at times this season. But with how much story they're trying to cram into 6 episodes, it's just what happens I guess.

Team Cersei all the way!! I was all about the Starks and hated her guts but ever since Cersei donned the black she stole my heart. Kill em all!

 

Blindsided means attack from an unexpected position... the arrow hit dead center from the front. No way they didn’t see the boats before the dragon was hit. Also no way the two shots were made from that distance from a boat rocking in the water. But hey, it’s a show...

 

Yeah, I thought episode 3 was awful. The whole ice vs fire story-line ended like that?!?!

Also, 1,000s died but no one important died. And they were all on the verge of death for SO LONG waiting for the night king to die. The writing has become comical.

Also, I want to root for Dany but she is just awful. She should have died 5 or more times already. Dumb, dumb, dumb. She is extremely predictable and impulsive.

 

yeah, plot armor basically. This season is rife with it and key plots/storylines being forced along quickly to the point they make little if any sense. But again, it's the final season and they were limited to 6 episodes so we just have to go along with it. I rewatched the whole series from the beginning up until now with my wife because she finally agreed to watch the show, and it's very apparent when the shift in writing starts to happen toward the beginning of season 7.

 

I read an interview where the cast all were sad that Joffrey died because it meant Jack Gleeson was leaving. As nasty as the little shit character was, they all said that Jack was the sweetest, nicest guy and couldn't believe how he could play Joffrey so well.

 

I def think the whole cast is great, Peter Dinklage is probably my favorite...but if I'm ranking them on overall performance...

#1 is Cersei.
#2 is everyone else lol

 

Yep. They managed to get 3/3 hits on a distant target moving in three dimensions but couldn't hit one with 20 shots while it was in a constant angle dive and closing the distance with zero lateral movement?

 

THIS. This is all I want to see now.

 

He quit acting and contributes a lot of it to GoT because the character he played was so awful and he didn’t want that to be his life’s work.

The writing last season was painful at times.. this season is comical. This is like writers strike S2 Heroes hilarious.

 

The writers really needed GRRM's material to work from. Without it, they are coming up short.

 

Forgot about Sam laying on the ground with the dead practically tearing him apart and this episode he is fine like nothing happened to him
