Rebuild/upgrade my 95 Taco

my local yards have NO taco's to speak of last time I checked, other than a 2oo9 that was probably rolled

edit: I checked and they have 2 from last month

a '95 and a '98 ... its in a yard 50miles away

Damn, you feel like calling them up for me go for it lol id really like a driver seat but that bezel is mostly what I'm aiming for

 

i can call to see what they have, the '98 won't do but maybe '95 is in good condition still
what's your seats look like?

ok i called them and they said
no pics, gotta drive 50 miles and then pay $2 to get into the yard whether I find what I'm looking for or not
thats harsh!
maybe somebody on TW is located nearer to there and willing but its unlikely, my state only has 3 or 4 that check in here regularly

And rough looking lol worst comes to worst I just buy seat covers for an outrageous amount

 

Damn that is harsh, I want to get a bigass trailer and go salvage yard hunting for TW and anyone that needs stuff that is discontinued like myself

 

Got my rims and tires on and she's looking meaner than ever I ended up getting american racing alloys 15x8 with -19 offset
Couldn't be happier with the look it gave the truck

 

i will be interested in finding out how the MPGs are with those!

 

Just put a tank through the truck with them on and it was around 300 miles to a tank so not much different than it was.

 

Most importantly about the new meats is that my dad loves them, I dont care about anyone else's opinion about that truck except his. Guess I better be careful or he's gonna want the truck back.

Best year because not only do they look the best, but they're the only years you could buy a regular cab v6. When i finally buy a first gen, it will absolutely be a 95-97

 

we also have no passenger airbag, non-digital odometers and the pullout rectangular drink holder lol
i would think you can drop a 3.4 into a single cab from '98 onward or is that not possible

Im sure you could swap one in, but that sounds like a lot of work. Would be worth it to find a used one that came from the factory with the v6. would be very hard to find though
